The Orchestria solution architecture was purpose-built from the ground up to meet the needs of the world's largest and most sophisticated organizations.

Our distributed agent architecture model provides local application of policy with centralized control, reporting and workflow. This unique architecture provides:

Scalability Orchestria is field proven to massive scale, with real customer installations processing tens of millions of messages per day for hundreds of thousands of users.
Security A complete Enterprise Security model controls access to data with both role based privileges, and hierarchical viewing rights. Authorized administrators only see messages for users and groups for which they have been explicitly granted permission.
Fault Tolerance The architecture employs an automatic, bi-directional, store and forward data transfer model, automatically distributing policy to each Policy Agent, while centrally collecting results. Fault tolerance is provided throughout the architecture, eliminating any single point of failure or bottleneck.
Modularity Policy Agents, infrastructure, and central management components can be configured to meet customer's individual needs. This maximizes efficiency, minimizes cost and provides an intelligent control layer where required by your organization.
Granularity Through the extensive use of standards, such as XML, the Orchestria architecture provides seamless integration and open interoperability with back-office and third party systems, allowing them to be referenced when applying policy against automatically synchronized data, or real-time access.
Open Access Through the extensive use of standards, such as XML, the Orchestria architecture provides open interoperability with back-office and third party systems, allowing them to be referenced when applying policy either against automatically synchronized data, or in real-time.

Performance
Orchestria provides this extraordinary range of analysis capabilities without compromising performance. For example, rather than carrying out multiple searches of a single document, Orchestria builds an in-memory dictionary of each document it is analyzing. The performance benefits of searching against a dictionary allows many thousands of terms to be searched for in milliseconds.

Even large and complex e-mails, attachments or files, such as nested zip files, can be expanded, have their text extracted, and be searched by thousands of parameters in milliseconds. As a result, Orchestria meets the needs of even the largest organizations.

The distributed agent architecture granularly applies policy control at point of interception, eliminating any requirement to move messages to a centralized location for policy application. This model maximizes throughput and resilience, while minimizing latency and risk.
