Orchestria technology solution provides the necessary controls to ensure full regulatory, corporate and security compliance for all electronic communication channels while adding the necessary intelligence to the archive
New York, NY - April 18, 2007
Orchestria, the leader in Electronic Communication Control (ECC) today announced
that it has joined the EMC Velocity Technology and ISV Program to enhance interoperability
between Orchestria’s Electronic Communication Control and the EMC content
management and archiving platform.
Interoperability of Orchestria and the EMC platform enables users to prevent
messaging violations by displaying a real-time alert to the user with information
on how to comply with corporate, regulatory and security policies. Violations
can be intelligently reviewed by designated personnel, targeting only the messages
that need to be reviewed. Further intelligence is added after the message is
sent, by being able to tag messages as they enter the EMC archive for optimized
storage, categorization and retention. Utilizing Orchestria and EMC software,
customers can apply consistent electronic communication controls to all messages.
“EMC is pleased that Orchestria has joined the EMC Velocity Technology
and ISV Program to demonstrate its commitment to excellence in enterprise content
management and archive application design for its Electronic Communication Control
product,” said Barry Ruditsky, Vice President of Business Development,
Content Management & Archiving, EMC Corporation. “We look forward to
working with Orchestria to ensure that our mutual customers have the highest
level of support possible for their information protection initiatives.”
“Business today is predicated on the collaborative information exchange
afforded by electronic communication such as e-mail and instant messaging. While
electronic communication can be an organization’s greatest tool, it can
easily be abused due to lack of control,” said Bo Manning, CEO of Orchestria. “Under
the EMC Velocity Technology and ISV Program, the leader of Electronic Communication
Control and the leader in Enterprise Content Management and Archiving offer customers
a solution that provides the controls necessary to mitigate the risks associated
with this traditionally control-free business application.”
The EMC Velocity Partner Program enables technology companies to build solutions
integrated with EMC platforms and develop applications that work with EMC technologies.
The independent software vendor (ISV) program is designed for product companies
that seek to develop enterprise-class applications, enhance customer solutions,
and increase their channel reach by integrating or embedding the EMC information
infrastructure platform within their products.
