Orchestria integrates with ZANTAZ on-demand archive solution for expanded messaging governance
New York, NY and Pleasanton, CA - October 04, 2006
Orchestria and ZANTAZ today introduced a new technology integration to ensure that electronic messages stored in ZANTAZ's on-demand archive service comply with industry regulations and internal policy. This integration combines Orchestria Active Policy Management with ZANTAZ Digital Safe and is designed for organizations that are mandated to store electronic communication records, but want the simplicity of an on-demand content archiving solution.
Orchestria Corporation, a leader in software that helps organizations ensure their employees comply with all critical regulatory and company policies associated with electronic communication, and ZANTAZ, the global leader in content archiving and electronic discovery solutions, have completed a technical integration of their applications. Available immediately, this powerful integration allows enterprises that do not want the cost and administrative overhead of managing an in-house archive to manage this business-critical application on demand, while retaining full control and visibility of the most widely used form of electronic communication: e-mail.
Orchestria's Active Policy Management (APM) approach works in real-time, guiding the user to ensure that messages are compliant with corporate policies and regulatory requirements before they enter the ZANTAZ Digital Safe archive.
Orchestria provides compliance officers, data managers and CIOs with the confidence that messages stored in the offsite ZANTAZ Digital Safe archive are compliant, by preventing violations at the user's desktop or messaging server before the message has been sent. Messages archived in the ZANTAZ Digital Safe are accessible via the award-winning Orchestria iConsole Web interface.
According to Brian Babineau, an analyst with the Enterprise Strategy Group, firms will need to analyze, search, supervise and retrieve messages with a greater level of intelligence as the regulatory and legal environment grows more challenging. "Together, Orchestria and ZANTAZ provide the level of intelligent message management that can give customers much needed control over their e-mail and archiving processes," he said.
Bo Manning, CEO of Orchestria, said: "The combination of Orchestria and ZANTAZ ensures that electronic communication in the offsite archive is compliant and easily accessible when needed."
